The club holds a number of regular and seasonal social events throughout the year which provide both members and non-members with numerous opportunities to socialise outside of playing bowls.
There is a happy hour each and every Friday afternoon from 5:30pm to 6:30pm with both members and non-members being welcome to attend. It is a great way to socialise with members of the Kensington Gardens Bowling Club family and other members of the community.
Social dinners are held on select Friday evenings (usually fortnightly) and are a great opportunity to have a meal in the company of others. There is always a members’ draw and club raffle, so don’t miss this opportunity! You could arrive early for happy hour and then stay on for dinner. The club holds and both a pennant season opening and closing dinner each year. The season opener is usually held in September and starts with the traditional jack roll and first bowl by our singles club champions, which is followed by the members’ draw and club raffle.
