Womens Country Carnival

The carnival was a great success thanks to Peter Glazbrook’s management. Both days ran smoothly. The large group of members who volunteered were mentioned and thanked in last week’s detail. It is pleasing to hear positive feedback from players who come to the club. I have included one example below sent through from Bowls SA

Good Morning,
Just passing on a quick email of thanks and congratulations to Kensington Marryatville Bowling Club for the Country Carnival host and meals!
Well done! It is always good to see and receive good feedback of our events. Thank you for being a part of the 2023-24 Women's Country Carnival!
Kind Regards,

Officials Accreditation and Re-accreditation

It’s the off season and you are probably wanting to wind down from bowls for a while however the time presents an opportunity to plan for next season. There has been interest from several of you regarding becoming accredited markers, measurers and umpires. I have contacted Bowls SA about running sessions at the club and they would be pleased to do so over three days but not consecutive days. For those who are interested please let me know a few dates and / or days that would suit and I will get back to Bowls SA.
