Bowls Newsletter - 11/02/24
In the previous two newsletters I have published MBA questions seeking feedback on current Conditions of Play. The committee discussed possible dates at the last meeting. Again, I stress that whatever date is selected it will not suit everyone. In such cases I encourage you to share your thoughts and opinions with me or other committee members.
In this week’s newsletter a link has been included to a survey which has two sections. The first is seeking a response to selected dates for a face-to-face discussion. The second provides a series of questions for written feedback for those who prefer to do that or cannot join a discussion.
A much better week for the club especially on Wednesday and Thursday.
Wednesday: All teams played at home. A very good result with all winning.
Thursday: Both teams played at home and enjoyed wins.
Saturday: A day that saw mixed results.
A reminder that rinks 3 and 4 on A green remain closed. Please look at the board at the side entry to the clubrooms for notifications regarding other greens closures.

Paradise Mazda has been a generous sponsor and supported of our club for many years. MBA has arranged a sponsorship with Paradise Mazda that will also benefit the club. Any club member or club social bowler who purchases a new or used vehicle from Paradise Mazda can benefit our club with a donation of $100.
Any scheduled or general service can benefit our club with a $50 donation. There is a poster on the club noticeboard with details.
On Sunday February 18 the club is hosting the next round of the Super Challenge. Matches begin at 6pm.
Please remember that when you visit one of our club sponsors to let them know you are from the KMBC so they know their sponsorship is worthwhile. Sponsors play a vital role in the future of our club so please be sure to support them whenever you can. Anyone who has an idea about a potential sponsor please approach anyone on the Committee to share your ideas.
