Message From the President
Whats Happening This Week
Another busy week and positive to see so many of you enjoying the facilities. The BBQ area renovation is almost complete with only the decking to be painted. The new BBQ has been installed and used for Thursday Night Owls and Invictus Family night. Club Championships are progressing and slowly getting to the pointy end. A reminder to indicate rink, date and time on the board. Many members came to support Phillip Grant-Allan at Carol’s wake. Invictus Australia enjoyed a family night of bowls and a BBQ.

General News
Green Closure
A reminder that rinks 3 and 4 on A green remain closed. Please look at the board at the side entry to the clubrooms for notifications regarding greens.
Invictus Wrap Up
On Friday night the club hosted an Invictus family night. It was a wonderful night thoroughly enjoyed by all. The weather gods provided a magnificent evening for bowling, mild temperature and no wind. A pity it wasn’t a pennant match!. Greens as usual were running really well.
Vanessa from Invictus Australia introduced the event and passed to Brett Herbert from Bowls Australia. Brett managed bowling with ease for all ages and abilities. He probably regretted offering chocolate bars for participants who touched the jack. The supply of chocolate bars at the club is now zero and Brett’s wallet much lighter. Nothing like an incentive.
- Thank you Jo Harvey our ward councillor who joined us during the evening. Great to see Jo at the club and hope to see more of her.
- Thank you to Pat Lee who worked with Invictus to organise the event. Great bowls and BBQ.
- Thank you also to the members who assisted to make the evening a success. Neville Yeates, David Freeman, Bill Lewis, Alan Lambert, Allan Wilkins, Heather Garnett, Liz Greenfield and Katie Gunning.
