Christmas Dinner Dec 15th

Our Christmas Dinner is fully booked so unfortunately there are no places left for late comers. Heather Garnett will collect the final payments as you arrive. A table seating plan will be posted at the payment location. Don't forget that you have pre-rdered your meal!

  • Happy Hour from 5:30-6:30pm
  • Hot Gospel (a choir Jenny and Kim sing in) will entertain us with Christmas carols and a couple of their favourites from 6:30pm until meal service begins
  • Dinner from 6:45pm onwards

The Christmas raffle is one of our major fundraisers and has been well supported by many club members who sold tickets. Thank you to Nev for co-ordinating the prizes and to everyone who has generously donated. In all there are 18 fantastic prizes. Doug will draw the raffle during the evening. Pip Malone is our resident DJ for the evening. She has promised to take requests.

No Christmas Dinner would be complete without a visit from Father Christmas. We will see if he has space on his hectic calendar to drop in during the evening. Volunteers needed to assist with room set up on Friday morning at 10am.

Club Hire

December 16th sees the club being hired out for Nocelle Foods (Natures Delight). There will be some adult games conducted on the tennis courts from 4pm with bowls being undertaken from 5-8pm. There is only one team playing home that day; if there is a club member or two that can volunteer their time after bowls to show those attending the club hire how to play the game it would be much appreciated.

Night Owls Request

Please support Thursday Night Owls in State Comp! Bowls SA is running a video competition through its Night Owls Bowls Facebook and Instagram pages.

For those who are  FB and Insta users / followers, please like and follow the Night Owls group, then find our video and like it (click on the thumbs up button).  The club with the most likes wins a Cooper's pack.

Pennant Bowls Schedule

If anyone is using the original program for all the Pennant bowls games for the 2023/2024 season can you please disregard this. The new bowls schedule program to be followed is located on the noticeboard in the clubhouse.

Help Needed

Please contact Anne O’Dea (0407797401) if you’re able to help.

Help needed for Thursday December 14 - our final Night Owls for 2023. Sausage sizzle service (5:30pm - 7:30pm) and assistance with the after bowls supper (8pm-9pm). It doesn't have to be the same person - you can choose to help with just one.

Thanks, Anne

Happy Hour

Don't forget that happy hour takes place at the club each and every Friday night and it's a great way to socialise with other members of the KMBC family.

Sponsorship Display Screen

It would be appreciative for ALL events at the club that the inside duty team make sure that the screen is on as part of the set up duties. It is imperative we display our sponsors names at ALL events as this is the only medium we have for continuous exposure and advertising to support their businesses. Appreciate everybody's support on this matter.

Thanks heaps, Nev Y

Sponsors

Please remember that when you visit one of our club sponsors to let them know you are from the KMBC so they know their sponsorship is worthwhile. Sponsors play a vital role in the future of our club so please be sure to support them whenever you can. Anyone who has an idea about a potential sponsor please approach anyone on the Committee to share your ideas.
