Tennis
The tennis season extends from the long weekend in October to late May or early June depending on weather conditions. The tennis club has 15 beautiful lawn courts & caters for both competition and social players. There is a Ladies mid week competition on Thursday mornings, a Saturday morning Men’s competition and Saturday afternoon competition program for both men’s and women’s teams. There is also organised competitive tennis under lights on a Monday night, and social night tennis on a Wednesday night. Social tennis is played most days with many of the social players out on court Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
We conduct an ANZ Hotshots program on Sunday mornings for juniors of all ages, with coaching provided.
Expert coaching is available for people of all ages and abilities and free coaching is available on Open Days which we have once or twice each season for those interested in joining the club or playing on a casual basis.
Six lawn courts have recently been provided with lighting up to national competition standards (average 500 Lux) to further extend the availability of our tennis facilities. These courts are available on a session fee basis for members and non-members.
