President's Message

Lots of activity at the club this week. Renovations are progressing well, with the tiling looking good. The end is in sight hopefully by the Christmas break.

The number of hires is increasing. For them to be successful, the club requires volunteers, so please assist where possible.

It was good to see on Friday that the club championships are underway, which is positive as the busy Christmas New Year period sees many struggling to get games played.

KMBC Ladies Gala Day (Nov 24)

Not too Late to Enter a Team!

You don't have to be a full club member to play on our Ladies' Gala Day. Associate members and even non-member Night Owl players can also join in the fun.  The dress theme for the tournament is the 1970's but that is entirely optional — you can wear whatever you want to, including club bowling uniforms.

So please encourage any female bowlers you may know to enter the tournament. Single entries are also welcome, and I will organise a team for you. Please ring or text me (0431 137 865) by next Monday at the latest, if you want to register.

Helpers Needed

I am looking for volunteers to help out on our Ladies Gala Day. In particular, we need people to help Ken Mason behind the bar around lunchtime — 12.30pm to 1.30pm, and again after the final game finishing from 4pm until around 5.30pm. If you can assist in any way on the day please let me know.  Allan (0431 137 865). In appreciation.

Christmas Raffle

Tickets for our Christmas Raffle are selling fast.  All books have been allocated to members for them to sell. If you haven't already, make sure you buy a ticket. Please get your sold books and money back to Pip. Thank you.

Club Championships

Club Championship draws are now posted on the board in the club room. For any queries (or corrections), call Kim Draper on 0457 274 923. Round 1 dates have been set. Any games not played by the due date with be forfeited.

Finals Event:

The club will host a luncheon for the finals on Sunday 15 March 2026. Members (and non-members) are encouraged to come and watch the champions fight it out for the ultimate title of CLUB CHAMPION 2025/26.

Club Hires — Volunteers Urgently Needed!

The club has a number of hires coming up in Nov/Dec which require the assistance of 3-5 people each to help set up and provide assistance throughout the afternoon or evening. If you are available to help out for a couple of hours, please contact Pat on 0449 018 849. The days we require assistance on are as follows.

Friday Night Happy Hour and Dinner

Sadly, Mary Phayer's name was drawn last Friday and if she had been at the club she would have taken home the jackpot of $400.  Therefore, the jackpot is $500 on the first Friday of next month being 5 December 2025, so make sure you are in attendance.

We look forward to you joining us for a meal this Friday. Happy Hour commences at 5.30pm and meals are served between 6pm and 8pm.

A Reminder - put your name on the list in the clubrooms if you would like a meal or alternatively, give Pip a ring and she will add your name.  Don't forget to invite your neighbors, family and friends to join us. Meals are bistro-style, pay when you order at the counter on the night. Although we prefer to know how many are coming, walk-ins will be accommodated. Take away meals are also available. We are relying on your support for this initiative. Kensi Club is the place to be for a Friday night meal.

Happy Hour

Happy Hour is on at the club again this Friday at 5.30pm.
