Notice to all Members

With the 2025–26 Pennant Season now underway, the Bowls SA Officiating Advisory Group wishes to remind all players, officials, and spectators of a few important guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyable season for everyone.

Uniform Standards

All full pennant players are required to wear their approved club uniform during matches, including Bowls Australia–approved hats and bowling shoes. Umpires are authorised to caution players not complying with these requirements.

Safety on the Bank & Preserving Our Greens

To help maintain the quality of our playing surfaces and the safety of individuals, we kindly ask that all players and spectators refrain from sitting on the banks of the greens with feet on the playing surface or in the ditches. Protecting the fragile edges of the greens and ditches is vital for the benefit of all bowlers and the hard work of our green keepers.

Your cooperation with these guidelines ensures that our sport continues to be played in a professional and respectful manner while preserving our valuable facilities. Bowls Australia and Bowls SA remain committed to fostering a positive playing experience for all participants.

Renovation

The renovation continues to progress positively towards completion by the Christmas break.

  • Painting is near completion
  • Waterproofing of the wet areas was completed last week.
  • Air conditioning is operational
  • An internal concrete ramp will be laid on October 21.
  • Tilers aim to finish their work by the third week in November.
