Renovation
Floor was poured on Tuesday as expected. Timber has been delivered for the framework inside the walls and the air conditioning company is back at work. What’s next? Peter and I will continue to update on progress each week. Things are taking shape.

Winter Social Bowls
This week sees the final two games and places are filling up quickly. Thank you to organisers Kim Draper, David Freeman and Ryan Wilkins and their teams for both days. There's been a bit of musical chairs around the clubrooms to accommodate the renovations, including free cardio exercise as we go up and down stairs to the toilets. Once again, the program has been an outstanding success and in most cases the sun shone over the greens.
On Thursday, Richie Carter will be providing a sandwich for players. While he is at the club, he will give his company a quick promo refreshing members of the benefits of using Carter Real Estate when selling or buying a property. As you know, Carter Real Estate and Moore Auctions sponsor our Day on the Green Tournament each year and have been a loyal and involved sponsor for some years now.

Wanted - Coordinator for Tuesday Night Owls
In last week’s newsletter I announced that Allan Wilkins would continue as the coordinator. This is not correct and so the club is seeking a willing person to coordinate the Tuesday Night program. There are people willing to assist with raffles, food and set up. Allan has offered his support for a new person as he willingly did on Thursday during winter.
Honour Board Given a New Life
A great community project. The amazing team members at The Shed on Conyngham Street have delivered yet another fantastic community project, having converted one of our club’s honour boards into a handcrafted tea trolley.
Barry, who is pictured with Peter Glazbrook, spent 20 hours completing the project. Barry wanted to give the board the respect it deserved. Peter was very happy. The Honour Board, now in its new life, is back at the club thanks to Ken Mason and Peter Glazbrook. I’m planning that it will have its debut as a dessert trolley on the Opening Season dinner evening. Some of you may recognise the names on the board.
