ANZAC Day Half Tournament

The afternoon was a great success thanks to Ken Mason, who managed the tournament and bar to perfection. 48 enthusiastic bowlers came out to enjoy an afternoon of fun and friendly rivalry in drawn pairs games of 5 ends followed by 6 ends. The afternoon conveniently provided a segway into Happy Hour.

Closure of A & B Greens

Both A & B  Greens will be closed on Monday 28 April 2025 for Line Marking.

Champion of Champions Update

On Saturday May 3rd we will have 16 male bowlers, of which 12 are country champions playing at our club. This is a knockout competition with the first game starting at 9.30 am. At this stage, I have had no issues raised with the rosters put out to run the event. Come and watch some top players in action.

Clubhouse Renovation

It is pleasing to see most of the lockers have been cleaned out Please note that the cutoff date is May 2nd. Lockers will be disposed of in due course. Sunday May 4th the club bowls will be moved to the northern side of the clubhouse. This will occur after Ken Watson has started the WEA course at 10am. Peter Bahnertt Is overseeing the operation with helpers needed. Please let me know if you can assist.

If there is sufficient help, the white cupboard in the ladies' locker room will be dismantled and repositioned at the southern side of the clubhouse. Its future is unknown at this stage. The office cleanout is ongoing. At this stage the grant application result is unknown.
