St Peters Girls School
Students from the school will be with us on various Monday and Friday mornings and Wednesday afternoons during the first school term. Please keep an eye on the board and if you are at the club when they are there, please make them welcome.
End of Season Drinks
End-of-season drinks have been arranged at Binn’s hotels. It’s been a demanding season for the club with challenges and many successes. Now it’s for a drink and relax, perhaps reflect, enjoy and laugh.
Ken Mason has organised for the Wednesday men’s competition to meet at the Glynde Hotel, which is on the corner of Payneham and Glynburn Roads with a large car park at the rear of the hotel.
Robyn Hutton has organised for the Thursday women’s competition to meet at the Robin Hood on Portrush Road.
With one minor round remaining, I acknowledge and thank David Freeman and the selectors who have managed to put teams on the greens each week avoiding any forfeits. On weeks when there were 25 players unavailable on a Saturday selection was very complex. Phone calls, text messages and updates to Bowlslink were relentless. During these days selectors introduced many enthusiastic new bowlers to the game.
I express my gratitude to those players who were willing to come out and play for us and enjoy the experience. All the best for our last minor round game. Hope to see you again next year.

Cecily Griffiths, who is the organiser, has asked that items be brought to the club from Thursday, April 3. If you have issues regarding drop off, please contact Cecily on 0427 196 356.
