St Peters Girls School

Students from the school will be with us on various Monday and Friday mornings and Wednesday afternoons during the first school term. Please keep an eye on the board and if at the club when they are there, please make them welcome.

Bowls SA Survey

Please note that the responses we compiled were for the Metropolitan Bowls Association (MBA) and this time is Bowls SA. Representatives were at the last President’s meeting held by MBA and promoted the survey so if any of you have suggestions, please forward to Bowls SA for the steering committee to consider. Thank you to members who have already forwarded their thoughts and suggestions.

Bowls SA values the input of our member clubs and players, as they are the heart of our sport. Your feedback helps us refine the pennant competition to ensure it remains enjoyable and relevant. Common feedback often addresses:

  • Match format and duration
  • Scheduling
  • Conditions of Play
  • Travel - distance

To capture these insights, we encourage all clubs and members to participate in the statewide survey on the pennant competition. Conducting a survey of pennants in South Australia is crucial for ensuring the sport remains vibrant, inclusive, and enjoyable for all members at all divisions.

As Bowls SA President Tim Dodds mentioned at the meeting, if you have suggestions for questions or topics you’d like the Season Format Review Steering Group to consider, please send them to ceo@bowlssa.com.au by 21st February 2025.
