Greens Management
By now many of you are probably aware that the time has come where Mike Lynch and Ulli Kruse are stepping back from their work maintaining the greens at the end of the pennant season. On behalf of the club and members I thank them for their wonderful work and tireless commitment to ensuring our synthetic greens are regarded as the best in the metropolitan area.
The committee is seeking expressions of interest from people prepared to be involved with the work. I suggest that sharing the work load across a small group may ease the load. Ulli and Mike are ready to take new apprentices to train in the range of tasks.
We look forward to seeing expressions of interest being sent to Philippa Malone by December 12. Ulli and Mike have no intention of leaving the club and will be available to support and mentor new greens team members in the roles.

Membership
Positive news is that we have increased our number of members. At our meeting last week Tania Lewis reported that we have 20 new pennant members many of whom are new to the game and 16 new associate members. There is a total of 140 which is an overall increase of 19. Again, I encourage returning members to support our new members, so they feel welcomed and connected to our community.

Access to Club and / or Office
Can you please advise Pip Malone if you are in possession of keys to the clubrooms and/or office. We are wanting to update our records. If for any reason you are in possession of a key and no longer require it can you also advise Pip so that she can reallocate the key if necessary.
There are some Committee Members and co-ordinators of other events who do not have the required access whilst we understand others have keys they no longer need. Your assistance would be gratefully appreciated.
