Congratulations to our Men’s Wednesday Division 3 East team, who won the Grand Final against Tranmere.
Congratulations also to Saturday Open Gender Division 5 East who defeated minor premier Walkerville in the Grand Final.
Well done to Men’s Division 4 East Red who finished second and Saturday Division 6 East who finished third. No finals are played in these division
Great to see new players out this season, especially a number of Night Owlers who have started playing Pennant.
Unfortunately, for the second time due to Covid restrictions, this memorial tournament is being cancelled. We will look to reschedule early in 2021.

Our popular Night Owls program recommences for the New Year on Tuesday 5th and Thursday 7th January. It runs weekly until mid March
Your first night is free. You also bowl for free if you bring a friend along.

What’s not to like?
We are holding a free Bowls Come & Try on Sunday 27th September from 10am to 3pm. Situated in the corner of the beautiful Kensington Gardens Reserve, its a great opportunity for family and friends to find out what Lawn Bowls is all about and enjoy the ambience.
Night Owls starts in mid October, so if you like the Come & Try you can continue through to our popular Tuesday & Thursday Night Owls.
Summer bowls is coming and we have a lot to offer new bowlers through to experienced.
If you want to find out what lawn bowls is all about, come along to our Come & Try on Sunday 27 September, any time from 10am to 3pm. Try bowls for free, have a chat and a free BBQ. Or, do the 3 week WEA course that starts on Sunday 13 September.
Join our Tuesday or Thursday Night Owls, starting 13th October. This is fun for all age groups (kids to grandparents), so form a family, friends or work team or come along on your own. More information?
Pennant (inter-club) bowls commences on 7th October and we have teams for Wednesday (men), Thursday (women) and Saturday. If you are a new member, your first season is free plus we throw in a club shirt and bowls voucher.

Looking for some social bowling during winter?
Our social bowls starts soon and runs each week on Thursdays and Saturdays. Form a team of pairs (4 bowls) for Thursday or triples (2 bowls) on Saturday and play when you can; no need to commit each week. Individual entries are also welcome.
Great prize money at around $150 per time with cash prizes to winners and plenty of random draws.

Congratulations to Peter Glazbrook for his recent Life Membership of the Kensington Gardens Bowling and Tennis Club.
Peter has been involved with the club for over 10 years, with 4 years as Bowls President, and a number of years as Vice President, Greens Manager and Grounds Manager. In addition to this, he has acted as Venue Manager for many Bowls SA events at the club and Cook / Caterer for special events and many of our Friday Night meals.
